The Wallery Artwork that doesn't require a frame

Barcelona-based company The Wallery partners with international and up-and-coming artists to create artwork for the walls, in the form of wallpaper murals and vinyls. Their goal is to have you think outside the frame when it comes to decorating your walls and they have a bunch of colorful, and sometimes cheeky, options for you to choose from.

ONDA STOOL design Jesus Gasca, 2006

ONDA, design Jesús Gasca

STUA is delighted to present the ONDA stool. This visionary design has been conceived by Jesus Gasca, who founded STUA more than 20 years ago.

The shapes of ONDA mimic the curves of the human body as well as the curves of a wave. Like a glove, the seat moulds following the contours of the sitter and provides lumbar support by hugging the person´s lower back. The seat is very innovative, it has an extra soft rubber 'skin' which gives superb comfort. The inner “skin” is slightly smaller than the shell. Both shell and skin form an interesting colour and textural contrasts. The skin and shell are moulded simultaneously so that the final product incorporates two different materials, densities, and colours. Overall, a rich and elegant solution.

With a stainless steel frame, ONDA is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. There is a new option for the frame: made of steerl chromed to shiny or matt finish, for indoor use only. The four legs curve out smoothly forming a lightweight but stable base.

ONDA looks beautiful from any angle and is both brilliant and ergonomical. ONDA as the rest of the STUA collection has been created with care and attention, adding a new typology to the STUA family. The result is ONDA, refined and timeless.

Contemporary solid wood eco-friendly kitchen (100% recyclable)

Minacciolo presents Natural Skin "monoliths". Wooden volumes go alone with overwhelming freedom of the entire composition, reading the spaces and functions, Natural Skin transforms the concept of distributive structure, separating the environments trough the equipped walls and free elements accessible in 360 degrees. Proper containers able to receive the endless needs of any home, hidden by a unit apparently hermetic. Pull out and half-moon baskets, drawers, appliances, cupboards, cellars or even the storage cabinets… all this inside a single compact block.

Manifesto office furniture system : 3-dimensional space management

Manifesto

Manifesto: 3-dimensional space management

Manifesto is the product of our research into today's workers including Gen-Y and the evolving workplace, which helped us to define a new dimension in work-life balance. Manifesto’s extensive menu of elements supports 3-dimensional space management, to enable the creation of complete workplaces that facilitate individual and team work in a variety of settings.
Manifesto: Our observations

Insight 1: Objects trump paper.
We want to keep things that matter to us, both personal and for work, close at hand. Papers and objects we use on a daily basis are stored in the open. We feel comfortable with both Personal and Public items, Tools, Toys and Trophies all in the same space. Our space.

Insight 2: People want visual access.
People want to keep their work and personal gear close to their personal workspace.
They want spaces and places to display their things — tools, trophies, and toys, both private and public—so they’re easy to find. It’s so much easier to find and use something when you can see it.

Insight 3: More important and urgent work stays close by and near the top.
When objects, papers, and devices are used daily, we like to store them close at hand in whatever space is available. You’ll find on the worksurface, in open cabinets, balanced whenever, or even dumped on the floor. Wherever they are easy to see and ready to grab.
Which naturally means they start on top — until they get buried

Manifesto: Think in 3 dimensions

New work styles, work-life demands and increasing workplace density are changing the way systems and storage are planned and used. Applying our insights, Manifesto aims to optimize the use space by thinking in 3 dimensions, overcoming contemporary workplace challenges to:
• Help to change the way we work
• Help the work-life balance with personal items at work
• Help overcome workplace density
• Help support all kinds of workstyle

We set out five design principles to make the best possible use of space:
1. Make space below the waterline
2. Use vertical space
3. Make the system modular
4. Make the workspace more personal
5. Promote interaction

Manifesto features:

• Combines privacy with open and covered storage for concentrated task work.
• Open bench style layouts promote interaction with space for casual meetings.
• Optimizes privacy, worksurfaces and personal storage while supporting teamwork.
• Open setting promotes informal meetings and interaction
• Standing height worksurface encourages casual interaction.
